Turn a Raspberry Pi into a dedicated Viewer display. Flash the card, plug in a screen and ethernet, and it boots straight into Viewer Pro fullscreen — no desktop, no login, no keyboard.

Boots directly into Viewer Pro. Works with all Pro licenses.

Clockworks Viewer

Raspberry Pi 4

SD card image · mainline kernel, U-Boot

Flashing the card

The images are zstd-compressed and around 1.7 GB. Write one to an 8 GB or larger card with Raspberry Pi Imager (choose “Use custom”), or from a terminal:

zstd -dc clockworks-viewer-pi5-latest.img.zst | sudo dd of=/dev/sdX bs=4M status=progress
  • Pick the image that matches your board — they are not interchangeable
  • Wired ethernet with DHCP works out of the box
  • The viewer binds to the Pi's address automatically on boot
  • SSH is enabled with a default password — change it before deploying on a shared network
